Global Leadership Summit
Last year, I was invited to attend the GLS. I get excited about new things easily, so without diving too deeply into what it entailed, I decided to join the trip to Veenendaal. The setting in the Basiliek immediately draws you into the moment, making it easy to focus on the speakers. That’s not difficult in itself, as each one shares incredibly inspiring stories.
What I loved about this setup was that after each presentation, there was plenty of time to discuss with colleagues, acquaintances, or even unfamiliar GLS attendees sitting next to you. We talked about what resonated most, what inspired us, the challenges we faced, and what we could learn from it. These conversations were incredibly valuable and provided an immediate opportunity to apply what we had just heard.
Because I was so inspired and often thought, “The team at Hospitainer needs to hear this!”, we traveled to Veenendaal again this year with a group of colleagues. Once again, we were met with a wealth of inspiring presentations that we can start working with right away.
Leadership comes in many different forms, is unique to each person, but can also be quite challenging at times. That’s why events like these are a great opportunity to explore together what truly works and how to get your team on board with your journey.
